The Junior League of New Orleans presents its 15th Get on Board on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at JLNO headquarters (4319 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70115). Get on Board is a single day workshop providing knowledge and skills to current nonprofit board and staff members and those that wish to join a nonprofit board in the future. The fee includes engaging presentations from nonprofit experts ranging on topics from financial policies and fiduciary responsibilities to strategic planning, effective leadership development and fundraising. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages are also included in ticket price. JLNO will work with other nonprofits who are looking for enthusiastic, trained volunteers to serve on their boards. A list of nonprofits looking to fill board positions and presentation materials will be provided along with a certificate of completion at the end of the day!
